"How much will it cost?" is the first question everyone asks — and too often the answer at repair shops is vague until the bill arrives. Here's exactly how our pricing works, so you know what to expect before you hand over your laptop.

Step 1: The diagnostic is free

We never charge to look at your laptop or to tell you what's wrong. You bring it in, or we collect it, and our technician identifies the real fault — at no cost and with no obligation to go ahead.

Step 2: You get a written quote before any work

Once we know the fault, you get a clear, fixed quote — the part, the labour, the total. Where there's a choice between a genuine and a Grade-A part, we show you both prices and let you decide. Nothing happens until you approve it.

Step 3: No fix, no fee

If we can't fix the fault, you don't pay the repair charge. Simple. (Specialist work like data recovery is quoted and explained separately up front, so there are still no surprises.)

What actually affects the price

Repair prices vary for honest reasons, not hidden ones. The main factors are the part itself (an OLED or 4K screen costs far more than a basic HD panel), the brand and model (premium ultrabooks, MacBooks and Surface devices use costlier parts), how severe the fault is (one shorted component versus widespread liquid corrosion), and whether you choose genuine or Grade-A. Warranty is included in the price

Every repair price includes our written warranty — screens for a year, batteries for six months, general repairs for 90 days — covering both parts and workmanship. You're not paying extra for peace of mind; it's built in.
