We stand behind our work. Every repair we complete is covered by a warranty on both the parts we fit and the workmanship involved, so if a covered repair develops a fault within its warranty period, we'll put it right.
Warranty periods
Warranty length depends on the type of repair:
- Screen replacements — 1 year. The replacement screen is covered against defects for twelve months.
- Battery replacements — 6 months. The replacement battery is covered for six months.
- General repairs and parts — 90 days. Most other repairs, including keyboards, charging ports, board-level work and components, are covered for ninety days on parts and workmanship.
The applicable period is confirmed on your invoice at the time of repair.
What the warranty covers
The warranty covers failure of the specific part we replaced or the specific repair we carried out, where that failure is due to the part or our workmanship rather than new damage or an unrelated fault. If a covered repair fails within its period, we will repair or replace it at no charge.
What the warranty does not cover
The warranty does not cover:
- New physical damage, drops, pressure or cracked screens after the repair.
- Liquid or water damage occurring after the repair.
- Faults in a different part or area of the device, unrelated to the repair we performed.
- Damage from power surges, misuse, or unauthorised tampering or repair by another party after our work.
- Software issues, viruses or data loss arising after the device is returned.
- Normal wear, or gradual reduction in battery capacity consistent with normal use.
Liquid-damage and board-level repairs
Liquid-damage and complex board-level repairs are, by their nature, less predictable than standard part replacements. We carry them out with proper equipment and skill and warrant our workmanship, but because corrosion and prior damage can have effects that emerge over time, the scope of cover on these repairs is explained to you individually at the time of the job.
How to make a claim
If you believe a repair has failed within its warranty period, contact us with your invoice or repair reference. Bring or send the device to us and we'll assess it. If the fault is covered, we'll repair or replace it free of charge; if the issue turns out to be a new or unrelated fault, we'll explain that and quote for it separately.
Proof of repair
Please keep your invoice — it is your proof of repair and warranty. Claims need to be linked to the original repair record.
